Kayak & SUP Rentals

Matagorda Adventure Company offers half and full day rentals. Half day rentals are from 8am-12pm and 1pm-5pm. Full day rentals can select any time from 7am-6pm for drop off and pick up.

We drop off your kayak/SUP at the paddling site, give you a quick safety briefing and site orientation if you need it. You load your personal gear and go. When you come back, we meet you at the designated time (or earlier if you decide to shorten your trip) and pick up your kayak/SUP. We handle all the transport and gear cleaning for you. All you have to do is show up and go paddle!

Prices for kayak & SUP rentals are all inclusive (kayak, paddle, and PFD), and free delivery & pick up at any of our 7 standard access points and trails in the Matagorda bay area.

Contact us if you have any questions about paddling trails or which kayak or SUP is best for your next adventure in Matagorda. Please note we are CLOSED WEDNESDAYS.

A couple reminders/suggestions to make your adventure great:

  • Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and bugspray.
  • Water shoes or boots are highly recommended due to potential for oyster reefs, rough rocks, sharp shells & hot sand.
  • Hat, sunglasses & long sleeve shirts are great to protect you from the sun.
  • Snacks- you can work up quite an appetite paddling.
  • First aid kit – just in case
